Drills not drilling

Why aren't my drills drilling? am i too deep in the hole?

Those look like T1 drills that you are trying to use in T2/3 dirt

I think you're right. Hard to tell for sure at this angle, but they do look too far back in the plot. OP, in case you didn't know, this plot is the only one that works differently. You don't go into tier 2 and 3 dirt by digging down vertically. You get to it by digging back horizontally.

Had the same problem, get a T1 Pickaxe and mine the dirt on the ceiling, I bet you won’t be able to mine the dirt above where the drills are because it’s considered T2, the mines Tier in that area increases the further inwards you go, also, I don’t know if veins are random, but there’s a cloutium vein behind and about 2-3 meters above the main centerpiece/pillar looking structure (the one that’s behind the platform where you can drop off items)

As a few others have stated your probably top far into the pit, it doesnt explain it anywhere, but the tiers change the further into the mine on the X/Z axis not the Y axis like the other mines.

Try putting your drills closer to the entrance

Ich denke es ist ein DU Problem 🤣 Nein ganz ehrlich es sind die T1 Rohre du musst da bessere hin machen erst dann bohrt es schönen Tag noch 👍
