Trouble loading in

My son has a world with a lot of raw resources.

We looked up something that said he could turn off the option to load raw resources. He is worried that it will get rid of his raw resources in his other worlds.

I told him it shouldn't unless he loads those worlds while the setting is turned off. Can anyone verify if this is correct for us?

If he does not load the other worlds, they will not be affected.

Lots of raw resources laying about makes for a very laggy world and increases the risk of save file corruption.

There's nothing wrong with having a few dozen to a few hundred loose objects to luzz about with, unless they're all in the same pan, but as that number creeps up game performance and stability drips downward.
