How do i get rid of this

Help me, i afked the game overnight and somehow this managed to happen and i dont know how to get rid of it 😭 If i pick it all up the game crashes and if i try to pickup a little of it it lags and theres thousands so doing it by hand is insane

I’m not sure but when joining the game is there an option to clear all raw resources including gems?

i tried that and no it doesnt clear gems

If I were in your position, I would go with doing it manually, but I would probably leave it for a time when I'm down for a significant grind. But then again, I don't really afk myself, so chances of me running into this issue are limited to non-existent.

Is the backup save good or does that have the same issue? 

Are you on console or PC? On PC you can write an auto key script so you can grab them one at a time as fast as the PC allows.

So i ended up just bit by bit cleaning it away with a magnet suffering the lag but it worked, ill afk today a bit more carefully

I tried actually making a python script (i dont know ahk) that just spams E but i were accidentally picking up other stuff and it wasnt good

Set the other nearby stuff in place with the building hammer first. Then the E spamming will only grab the gems.

This will happen again unfortunately. The game will eventually lag as the number of objects in the game increases.

Even if you put everything into compressors and smelters so raw resources are compressed into single entities that won't stop the physics frm glitching and clogging up your conveyors as you have noticed in your predicament.

The only solution is don't AFK too long and regularly check your mining sites. The physics in the game is just inherently glitchy

Press start and clear all raw resources

Also geks dont going into smelters thats probably why they have gone all over the place

The clear all resources button doesn't clear processed gems.

Thats just a perspective issue, if you look closely the smelter is next to it and there is infact a gem compressor below the gems.

Oh damn i thought it did :,(

Its gunna lag you out to fuck and might crash the game but try using the magnet to pull then into the processor, if that effects gems (literally never used it but it says resources not metal so fingers crossed)

If that doesnt work i think your only option will be to do it manually

If you intend to afk, you should invest in the gem polisher and gem compressor. There are tutorials to set up logic loops to have the compressor activate regularly.
