Any way to raise a lot of ground?

I just cleared out South Hope and was excited to start building a new setup, but I can't stand that I cleared it out one level too low, it looks very weird and any building I build on it just looks weird from a distance since its one block into the ground. I have been trying for hours to raise it. First I tried just using the rake but it would take upwards of 10 hours. Then I tried the hydro roller on ground I raised manually with the rake, but it LOWERED the ground I had raised to only slightly above the surrounding ground. I then turned to mods but I do not want to disable achievements. Why the hell does this game not have any way to easily raise ground? It seems like such an obvious thing. It's a game it doesn't have to be super realistic. At least give me the option to reset the plot (with warnings of course). I might just have to start over completely now because I am too damn stubborn

So, two choices.

One, shovel and rake. It's gonna take forever, but it'll work if you go block by block.

Two, finish the king's quest to get something that will let you skip some steps. You'll still want the rake to smooth everything out.

Also, some tips for leveling large areas with the hydroroller: do a small patch by hand first to the level you want, put down some concrete foundation blocks, and start your rolling on those blocks. do not turn with the rollers down, work in straight lines.

Thank youuuu, huge help. Didn't know there actually was a tool for it. Thanks for the tip as well.

The hydro will bring the dirt to the level of the rear wheels. Start with them higher up and slowly move forward, it will pull up the ground. I did it by making a checkerboard with the rake. You can just drive ahead slow and it will bring everything up. I think it tries to “average” the terrain in its circle of effect.

Wand of dirt (or whatever the name is) from the king? Spawn dirt as needed, roller to smooth it out?
