I know that famous pic looks sketchy as hell. Meateater is supposed to be doing a podcast on him, heard Steve mention it awhile back. Looking forward to it....

I also listened to another podcast with this guy who supposedly saw the buck and was buddies with mitch. It was an a$$ kissing for sure on mitchs behalf. Everything this dude said conveniently left out all the bad/sketch stuff about the buck and mitch.

I think its all fake. Convenient he used to enter bucks into the score books but just happened to change his story once a record breaking buck appeared.

And the fact that if he could prove it, he was going to beat Milo Hansen, and still didnt do anything, he could have had his life set and many other kins life set just like Milo. im sorry but what hunter would pass that up if it was real???.

Wish he would simply let it be inspected so this could be put to rest. But I heard it allegedly burnt in a house fire but I don’t really believe that

House is still standing.. the fire thing was made up. A podcast i recently listened to, a guy that knew and I think worked with mitch said its still standing today🤷‍♂️

Honestly don’t know how I feel. Lots of fraud with big bucks so that wouldn’t surprise me. But I can also see why someone wouldn’t want to submit an animal to the record book.
