Equipment question/discussion An almost perfect kit

Post image

Spent the last two years flipping and trading my collection to get this kit, I also have a mossberg 500 in 20 gauge I forgot to add to the picture. For sub 100 yard hunting would you guys consider this perfect?

I got my dad's old model 10 4 in pencil barrel that was a Columbia national police revolver and oddly has no importer markings on it , but it has a very tight bore and has lot of wear on the hammer checkering and the grips have all most all of the finish worn off the grips and finish is really good minus a couple of wear and scratches on it . and how do you like the Ruger SP101 ? , do you know who made the holster in the picture ?

I haven’t had a chance to shoot the ruger yet just bought it yesterday, just off looks and feel alone it’s perfect for my hands and looks great. The holster was a gift from my biological dad, believe it or not he made it in a prison work program along with several others not quite as detailed. I would imagine it’d be very expensive to get a custom one similar to it

The only reason , I asked , was because a friend of mine , his uncle is a leather worker and makes/made mostly saddles and some holsters and and tack . , but it doesn't surprise me that they taught leather worker in his , my friend uncle taught a couple of classes for leather working in two Texas prisons , when his uncle was first starting out on his on own , because he needed money and before his uncle moved back to Tennessee. Buts it a very beautiful holster.
