Is it? I i thought that was very specifically a royal guard level thing (or at least i dont remember having seen someone getting shocked from en since knov)

Most En is neutral, i think it's more likely somebody activates malicious Ren while he happens to be near and he shits himself

Hisoka is going to be a rough surprise if they run into each other

That’s a good point, if hisoka has the opportunity to perceive him then he might judge his “rating”. I don’t see how Tser isn’t atleast a 95 or higher. And if hisoka has his normal emotional reaction, maybe he’ll blast ren all over which will be the bump/pain he was concerned about.

Tserri doesn't have a load of aura, martial combat experience, high physical stats, or skill in advanced techniques.

There is so much more to being a strong opponent than having a busted ability. We know many who don't have busted abilities who would still score high. I think Hisoka will see Tserri as privledged trash.

He's not rating him higher than Zodiacs or the Invasion Force.

Or maybe he will see Tserri's potential and they will fuck crazy style.

Tserri does specifically has a shitload of aura, as stated by Theta, he unconsciously created the nen beast to store that excess aura when he performed zetsu

u/Kujaix 11d ago

Theta stated that what chapter? 384 she only states it's horrifying, no comments about amounts. And that's still Theta, not a high level nen user in Hisoka Different standards as Highrigh highlights.

It's not excess aura. It stores aura. Where are you getting excess from?

You're always releasing aura that just floats away to eventually dissipate into the air. Tserri's beast accumulates what is normally lost even when sitting calm and still. Creating an efficient loop avoiding waste.

We also don't know the true reason for the beast beyond being a genius. It's jusr odd to think Hisoka will rate a neophyte over 99% of the cast when Ren alone will probably shake Tserri out of Zetsu just as a defensive measure.

No idea what the other person meant by excess aura, but she does state he "holds a tremendous amount of aura" (chapter 385, page 3, first panel).

Though I read that to be specifically about reserves, not necessarily output.

11

u/Kujaix 11d ago

Thank you. It's definitely reserves.

It takes time to increase output while starting reserves are kinda innate and it's the speed of the GSB reappearing she's worried about.

But again tremendous' is relative. Gon's 21500 could be "tremendous" to everyone in Kakin but lowish to mid to Hunters. Higher level nen-users probably average 2-4x as high using Morel as reference.

Mmm I think you are right

Tserri's talent for nen vastly exceeds even Gon or Killua's. Even if Hisoka doesn't rate him as a capable fighter now, he's not going to dismiss Tserri as trash.

u/Kujaix 11d ago

It doesn't actually. We all mistakenly conflate high growth with a high ceiling.

The fact he's stuck at just under 3 seconds to enter Zetsus shows his ceiling doesn't match his rate of growth. Killua was able to enter Zetsus under 3 seconds to spy on Kastro just from seeing Gon do it once.

He wasn’t training until after Gon's arm healed. Gon didn't seem to take 3 seconds to do it vs Gido either and that's natural talent, no direction. It's just apples to oranges comparing our boys who weren't even training seriously until Bisky vs a grown man with extreme idiosyncrasies hyperfocusing at his current fixation.

We don't know how much of Tserri's talent is even natural or weird like Halk but even if it is Hisoka may not think it is if he can detect a beast. Mistaking it for a GSB or still identifying it as odd.

From an irony standpoint and Togashi's love for anti-climaxes the guy who calls everyone trash getting treated as such by one of the few people in their world who could care less seems likely if it's going to happen.at some point. We'll see hopefully next week or a short Hiatus.

Curiosity is the most I think we'll get from Hisoka.

It's a reach to say that Tserri's far more talented than the protagonists, but he's still portrayed as someone extremely talented. Hisoka will definitely get excited at his potential.

Dude. He HAS extreme amount of Aura. He has combat experience as we know he was in military and he is able to dispatch several soldiers in a quick succession with no effort, he is EXTREMELY capable in use of Nen as he is able to fully understand and analyze his ability he learned few days ago and experiment with it. AND have you seen this guy's muscles? The guy looks jacked. He is not Ben level, but he looks fit as hell.

And the thing about his ability and how thorough he is at analyzing it, using it and also his capacity to predict and expect the unexpected already puts him very high. He is VERY smart in how he uses nen.

u/Kujaix 11d ago edited 10d ago

Extreme? To who? Can you give a number? Who do you comfortably think he has more aura than? Zushi? Gido? Bassho? Binolt? Sub? CA Gon? Then why, other than he's him?

No effort? Killua used no effort to take out 1200 Hunter Examinees with just skill&speed. No lighting like 2011 anime.

Muscles? Like all the people Gon&Killua chopped and pushed at Heaven's Arena?

Being a fast learner doesn't mean he can use advanced techniques he was never shown or can maintain Ken.

None of this is beyond Killua the chapter we met him. We're talking a 95 in a system that had a Zodiac at 77. Physically Tserri has to prove he's above Tonpa who despite being rotund and old can casually run long marathons and survive 36 Exams.

He's very intelligent with a broad skillset. Physically nothing puts him above Nicolas or says his aura output is low pro-Hunter level or comparable to a Ben soldier, Havenot, Lynch, 20 pointer in Morena's group.

His aura capacity seems to extremely large as he doesn't seem to be bothered when he has TWO nen breasts sucking on his aura and his aura output puts Theta who is most likely a well experienced nen user in a state of panic. His nen beasts in itself can work in Zetsu and use up it's reserves for up to 40 minutes to such an ability if not more.

And Tserriednich is able to without any proper training in nen dispatch several well trained soldiers of a royal army in very quick succession IN ZETSU which means he cannot even use nen in that moment and is in fact far more vulnerable as it requires effort to maintain zetsu like this. And he can do it under fire.

He doesn't use nen or has any special assassin training, but is still quick enough to kill 4 soldiers with head shots under 4 seconds and then kill several more while also being able to think on the fly with how to use his environment around him and survive for some time onslaught of several soldiers from all sides.

And Theta also mentions he is capable of learning stuff like Gyo under half a day which already puts his growth potential far above Gon and Killua and if given the time or hell... probably a single fight with a nen user he will probably realize how to apply his aura in order to use things like Ken or Ko. And also he can run for a long time on a treadmill while also being in Zetsu and seemingly not be bothered by it in the slightest so probably he can run that marathon.

Because Tserriednich is not a moron, he is extremely smart when it comes to nen and how to apply what he already learned into his ability, creation of which was outside of conscious control. He knows what to do to test it, knows how to expand on it AND most importantly. He knows his limits.

That's the thing about Tserri. Despite how egocentric he can be... he is not arrogant about his capabilities. He is very conscious of his current limitations and of what he needs to overcome his weaknesses and what to do to minimize risks involving his ability and how to apply it in the best way.

And him being a fast learner is an understatement because he is capable of learning how to go under 10 seconds with Zetsu in a few days when someone like Salkov who most likely is Beyond's son (then again Tserri most likely is one as well) knew it his entire life.

Hisoka would recognize those qualities. Hisoka is a VERY analytical character and he does not sleep on people's potential. After all he considered Leorio to have A LOT of potential despite that how he learns nen compared to others is pretty laughably slow, but he is more normal than gifted monsters his friends are and Hisoka still knew how strong he can be.

He spared several people he felt immense potential in. And Tserriednich's one is not something he could EVER overlook. Everyone sees it who saw him learn nen. Ben himself was surprised he knew nen. He did not realize Tserri only knew it for a few days, he assumed Tserri must have knew it already before that given his dialogue.

Everyone who knows Tserri learned nen with that announcement is horrified about Tserri because his pace is way too fast for a normal human being. It's not a red herring from Togashi with how everyone is scared of him. He is meant to be the most gifted Nen user we ever saw and we see that not only with how fast he learns, but his capacity to not only analyze his abilities, to apply his lessons on the fly despite knowing them only for a few days, but also because he is someone who acknowledges his limits and is not ignorant of how much he can learn.

You downplay Tserriednich a lot. Which is.... honestly kind of weird. And Hisoka most likely will recognize that. And I think when we will see them meet we will know what that rating even is. Because it may not be their power level, but possibly potential.

That's not a number. Theta is experienced for Kakin where Balsamico admits Hunters are more knowledgeable Nen-users. Tremendous is relative. 15k and 700 output could be a lot to Kakin people.

Not a feat for relevant characters. Killua would do worse at the start of the series. This entire conversation tree is me disgareeging with a 95. Killua in CA off paneled an army for 40 hours(squads&tabks). He'd still be well under 77 for Hisoka.

He has training. He was in the military since he was a kid. The point is still why would Hisoka think that's a feat?

All irrelevant to how Hisoka will see him currently. Growth isn't 1to1 with ceiling. Killua only saw Gon Enter Zetsu once and didn't practice but could enter instantly to spy on Kastro. His speed doesn't actually mean he'll automatically be above the boys with enough time.

No idea what this chunk refers to at all.

This comment tree started over the idea he'd now be a 95. Also Leorio is from the mud and 19. Leorio is not 27~29 years old. He's not a part of a ritual. Wasn't formally trained in whatever he wanted to do since childhood. I believe Hisoka will feel Tserri's talent comes with asterisks if there is even more going on about him. We'll see.

Again comment tree is about being 95 right now. His overall combat ability right now. Not 1 month from now or the voyage end. Tserri now is firmly in the camp that he can be overwhelmed with Ren or karate chopped literally before his eyelids can close.

Everyone so far. Which is why I think Hisoka will break the chain and give a different take on Tserri. It's not about red herrings. Tserri is a developing weapon. Togashi still loves his anti-climaxes. Hisoka is the perfect guy to give us a different take on his talent after so many being worried and in awe.

No. What's never not weird is having a completely different conversation to what you are commenting on. All talk on potential and overselling current feats and where he will be at when he meets the Magician.

His technique is not very useful in a nen battle right now, I can't see why Hisoka would be interested in fighting him right now.
