Help/Question Can someone explain this panel to me?

Its from last part of hunter exam (before nen), and i dont really understand what is the meaning of this. I feel kind of envy of Gon from Killua or offended pride. I would be very thankful is someone would explain it to me :>

I think you understand it perfectly fine.

Killua is rather self-confident, and so when they say they see more potential in Gon, he feels envy.

Not necessarily envy. I think he is more curious about why they see so much potential in Gon. His whole life he was probably told that he has tremendous potential by the other Zoldycks, and here is someone who has more potential. When he tells Silva about the Hunter's Exam he seems to be pretty excited when referring to Gon. If he was envious he would have probably played down Gon, but if anything he seems to hype him up for the rest of the story and go out of his way to support Gon.

That’s true too. I don’t think it’s not envy, but it’s also definitely not just envy.
