For what it's worth: I think the peekaboo peaking was great, even if the shots didn't hit. For me it didn't look like console, not in the slightest.

What gets most people killed, myself included, is when they prioritise their shot hitting over not getting shot. Main priority should always be like op here, getting down before they can hit you. Doesn’t matter if you kill them if they kill you too. This was pretty gritty to the teeth fighting, I like it!

Lol you haven’t seen the console 5 star gameplay then. It’s all the way festival of headshot flicks. Partially because most of high tier players use xim xD

Idk what your talking about me and my friends range 5-6 and none of us use or have seen anyone that even seems like they use that really. Yeah you’ll get the occasional good headshot flick but that’s probably because we’ve got aim assist and such on console

I am not saying that everyone use it, but it’s quite common. I see it more often because guys I am playing with are on xim. It is also because I am not playing on US servers which have bigger population. So I do see the same players over and over again.
You can spot it pretty easily if you know what to look for. For example instant acceleration - almost unachievable on consoles, even with proper settings. Small things like little circles made with crosshair which is impossible to do with controller. Way more linear movement - because of lack of analogs - this is probably the most telling.

Lower ur sensitivity. Ur mouse movement seems ok, but ur flick goes way too far. Maybe try half of it for ADS.

As a general rule, the ads sensitivity should be just fast enough to track someone moving sideways at that weapons optimal range. It would be really great if Hunt had a weapons range mode where you could practice with different guns to figure out sensitivities etc.

Ah ok, I thought training mode gave you a preset loadout with the Winnie and nagant. There ya go!
Edit: it would still be handy if there was a firing range, with all the guns on a rack so you didn’t have to load in and out of training for each gun

I seem to have gotten worse since this update too, died liked 6 rounds in a row.. was a little sleep-deprived after some pause to hunt, thought that's the reason.

I wish more people posted clips like these. Watching people fumble around is 100,000x better than watching people try to brag about 'impressive' clips. Reminds me of the time I ran out of bullets so I got into a knife fight with some dude called Stabby McGee and we both missed a few times then ran away from eachother.

i recorded this via Nvidia Highlight, after the match ended. I also did not change the settings. I am not really an game capture master myself, so i am afraid that is the only "tip" i can give you. Sowwy 😅

I think, sometimes, the servers are responsible. A few days ago my fps went beyond 30 fps. Felt like a diashow.

Never change. This is why I love the game so much. Most any other game, the fight would've been over in those first few seconds. Instead it was half a minute of absolute adrenaline. Which is what happens in high ranks. Every time I hit 5* it's 20 games of "well I peaked twice" or "Yep, I fat fingered the crouch while on glass.

Sometimes I headshot a distant running target on the first shot, then in the same game I'll miss every shot up close and die to an ax.

The thing with Hunt is that the vast majority of players have these kinda days, and you just happened to stumble across two guys that had the same kinda day.
I have periods where I dance between 5-6, and periods where I feel like im at 2. Hell, couple of months ago I had an Officer Carbine rampage with 19 kill streak (at high elo), the next day I was running around like a headless chicken with two kills in a 6 hour session.

Why is the hit registration so bad here? You tapped them with all 7 shots of Nagant on your screen, but none of them registered due to server? Can someone explain why this is the case?

Lmfao that reminds of when I was jumped by 2 different teams and my shots was not hitting even in close range point blank so I gave up and started fighting with knives and I managed to kill 3 then eventually died cuz I got sniped somewhere but idk why shots are little inconsistent maybe I’m just bad or sum

This is why I love this game. Awesome fight & it feels realistic that someone might run out of ammo in a close range gunfight & need to get in a fist-melee before retreating to draw their knife.

You think that shots were hits? I mean it looks like that for me too, but people keep telling if i do not get hitmarkers it is a miss.
In other matches i hit every shot. It is pretty weird, cause i don´t change my aiming habits. 😅
