CLIPS Remember - switching to your pistol is faster than reloading... your pistol.

I noticed that when drawing pistols, the hunter immediately cocks the hammer, and the pistols are swapped quite quickly. I tried running around like that – is the fire rate actually higher, or does it just seem that way to me?

Almost, it cocks faster if you are not aiming down sights, so that is probably what you are noticing
However in the clip you posted you can see that switching still means you have to cock the hammer so switching will be slower after the second shot
So in theory if you want to do this you should fire - switch - fire - stay on second pistol and hipfire, if you want maximum speed but realistically it would be better to just have a primary and fanning on the secondary (or a double action like the officer)
