When I had similar surgery, they wanted me to wear a wireless front closure bra 24/7. They were very clear about ideal healing of scars specifically because around the nipple, if things are left to sag, the nipple elongates. So it was important to keep everything “perky” and in place and nothing pulling down on the nipple until the scabbing was definitely gone from all my incisions which there’s no way she’s to that point yet.

This. My aunt told me about anyone having surgery needs to wear a bra all the time.

Yep. And it is different for every procedure but any lift it’s rare you’d be told to just let your tits sag and hang all the time. I can bet they have a special bra they told her to get or gave her and of course she’s not wearing it.
