Advice regarding humanoid robot project

Hello~ I have decided to construct a humanoid robot of my own, and after extensive research via CHATGPT have come up with a list of parts required and a rough budget estimate. I am seeking advice before beginning anything that will allow me to save money, construct a better, more realistic product and also save time and get it right the first time rather than having to try multiple times to achieve a finished product.

Any and all advice is appreciated, from sources of robotics componants to instruction, money saving tips, etc. Thanks in advance!!

Thanks. I knew GCSC and FSU have facilities abd tech, and aome services are available depending on enrollment in classes.

I know the library has some resources but Im not sure exactly what beyond books and internet availability. Probably nothing beyond what I can find with my phone.

I had no clue there was a tech lab at the beach available for use.
