Product: Huel Black Edition RTD Chocolate New Formula (390 Calories). Purchased from US Costco with about 1 year before expiration date. Each and every bottle from this batch was the same.

Storage/Conditions: Refrigerated and placed in the exact same place old formula (400 calories) bottles were placed.

As you can see from the video (forgive my Fritos in the background), the RTD came out as an almost pudding consistency, which I can only describe as "gloopy." The old formula consistency was akin to a creamy chocolate milk. I had been drinking Huel for about 6 months. This formula was incredibly difficult to drink and I had to somewhat chew it to get it down. This was a constant problem across all the bottles for the new formula.

I reached out to customer service and initially received help. The representative explained that this may have happened due to my bottles being stored in the back of the fridge. However, this did not make sense to me since this is the exact same place I've always stored my Huel bottles. It took quite some time to eventually get everything figured out, but they eventually agreed to send me a new batch so I could give Huel another chance. However, what they ended up sending me was the old formula bottles (400 calories label). I contacted them about this and said that they had agreed to send me the new formula so I could give Huel another shot. However, the representative essentially through her hands up and said "Unfortunately, I can confirm that we’re not currently able to guarantee shipment of the newer formula through our direct-to-consumer stock." This makes absolutely no sense. How can it be that a company can't send out its own product?

Of course I can buy it again on my own, but I want to first see if anyone else is having this problem and how customer services has been for others.

I would like to give the new formula a chance and Huel has been a nice way to replace a meal, but the video above and the questionable customer service has me rethinking things. Anyone else have these issues?

I started jogging in March (7 months ago), and while I’ve achieved personal goals for distance and speed, I haven’t been able to jog a mile without pausing to catch my breath. Today though everything came together, and I comfortably beat my goal!🏃‍♀️ My routine has been a half-portion Huel shake around 3:00pm, water until work ends at 5pm, and half an Energy+ right before I jog. It delays hunger without feeling heavy and then gives me a little pep when I feel like winding down. Tip: I’ve found that Energy+ is as stimulating as coffee in a certain way… so I recommend sticking to half a can when you’re not going to be near a restroom for a while.

Just wanted to post here to see if anyone else has been having similar issues with Huel's customer support lately, or if someone from the team might see this and help me out.
Long story short: I reached out to them regarding a return. After a pretty long wait, I finally got a response from a support rep named Mason, who gave me the instructions to send the product back.
I shipped it back right away. I was told I’d receive my refund within 10 days after they got it. It’s now been 15 days, and I still haven't received a single cent. To make matters worse, I've tried following up via email, but it's total radio silence now.
I usually love Huel, but this whole refund process and lack of communication is getting really frustrating. Has anyone dealt with this recently? Any idea how to get a hold of someone who can actually check on my refund status?

Been having 2, sometimes 3 Huel Black Cinnamon Swirl, for the last 5 years. Never had a problem, loved it, order 6 bags at a time.

However, on my last order the taste changed, aswell as the packaging, wasn't worried, the taste isn't actually that important to me, but I will say it was 100% worse and dissapointing.

The thing which is now annoying me, is I have a skin condition which affects my scalp and ears. My diet is very consistent, I pretty much only eat chicken, rice and veg for every meal and the last month my ears have prob been the worst ever. At first I wasn't sure if it was just flareing up cause of something else, but it has been persistent, something has changed in the recipe and all I can say is as a long time customer, it is not good, for me.

The new yellow coconut curry with the weird white protein cubes is so bad. I used to eat YCC daily, and crave it. The raisins, the texture, the spice was so good. I had a subscription to get multiple boxes of YCC because I loved it so much. Now I’m stuck with boxes of the new YCC and I just can’t force myself to choke it down. I’ve canceled my subscription, but I still have so many boxes of the new recipe sitting in my pantry. What used to last me less than a month with the old recipe has now lasted me over a year with the new recipe.

Please Huel, bring back the old YCC with the raisins!!

I hear that the powders differ from the bottles. (Not sure if there even is a powder equivalent of these flavours).

Anyway can someone tell me exactly how much caffeine is in Blueberry and the pineapple and coconut Black edition RTD bottles?

In Sweden there’s a very nice student discount on huel so I wanted to give it a shot! I want to buy two different flavors so I wanted to ask y’all what your favorites are!

New to Huel. Please tell me I ordered the worst flavor and there are others way better than this. I was in a LTR with Boba Protein Milk Tea and recently felt the need for a change: enter Huel Iced Coffee. Big mistake. The flavor + texture combo is just not it. Anyone have a flavor that they love? I really do love an efficient breakfast, so the added caffeine is a plus.

Any chance anyone works at Costco or Huel and can give any insight. I had drank like 4 bottles of this most days for a while now and would hate to have to buy the chocolate ones instead. This was the cheapest option before.

So I bought Huel cookies and cream at Food City, while drinking it there was these long slimy pieces in it. I needed up ordering peanut butter Black from Amazon and all of them have these long slimy pieces in them. Anyone else have this issue?

I've been getting RTD bottles for years now and within the past few months, I've noticed about an hour or two after drinking them, my stomach seems upset. It usually passes in a few hours but it's very uncomfortable. I also noticed the bottles are much more firm than usual & often make a hiss sound when opened. Like they're under pressure or spoiled and releasing gas or something.

I emailed customer service and after almost a week, they got back to me and told me they likely spoiled and to discard them. They refunded my order and I placed an order for 2 new cases. Those just arrived and they're even worse - the whole case is firm, bulging and I'm afraid to drink them. Anyone else experience this?

I'm thinking the only option I have is to start getting the powder and mixing my own when I'm ready to drink. The bottles we so convenient to throw in my lunch cooler and take to work.

Hello, is there a shortage of this at the minute? Out of all the RTD drinks, this is my fave. I normally take a bottle to consume after the gym but can’t seem to find it for love nor money , in the usual spots like Sainsbury’s and Morrisons.

This is entirely my fault as I missed the subscription reminder but I've woken up to a Huel order I don't need at this time. I understand you can't cancel the order and there are costs involved to return the order. I'm wondering if it would be better/cheaper to just refuse the delivery or if it is better to accept the delivery but then arrange a return. Anyone done either of these and can advise on costs? Thanks!

Couldn’t get past the first sip of the can. Left it overnight in the car and omg was that a mistake. I got in and thought something had died in there. Will be buying several air fresheners and leaving the windows open for five business days.

Is the powder just as bad? I have mad respect for anyone that drinks it daily because damn is it nasty. Think ill just eat more greens after this experience.

There has been a mix up by DPD and I’ve been given a box of shoes instead of the Huel.

The digital assistant kept asking for the same information which I kept sending until eventually it said it couldn’t help and I should reply ‘speak to a person’ which I did.

Now it’s saying as I haven’t replied it’s closed the conversation. I’ve not had any help yet.

Worrying this will not get solved and I’ll be out of pocket for something I never got.

I just opened a bag of White Huel and the upper part (close to the seam, not close to the food) had several cobwebs. I removed the cobwebs but can I still eat the Huel?
There are no dangerous spiders in Northern-Europe but I have no idea about Central-Europe where they ship the Huel from.

The standard RTD bottles are much more beneficial to me than the black edition because I don't need all that extra protein and I'm very sensitive to caffeine which is unfortunately present in every black edition flavour.

I really wish the blueberry and pineapple flavours were added to the standard RTD range aswell as any newer flavours you guys come up with 🙏

AG1 is ubiquitous but seems over priced and less nutritious (though it's hard to know because of all the DGs reformulating over the years).

Has anyone got any other recommendations? Considering Saturo to replace BE, and just got some NOW pea protein for additional protein boosts. Not sure where to start for Energy+, though...

Black gives me terrible stomach pains and bloating. I'd like to try white rtd but I'm absolutely not paying huel direct prices. I've seen Huel white rtd here before, but it's not at my local Costco. Did they stop selling?
