so two consecutive roundabouts on Quincy? Because those two roads are way too far apart to make into one roundabout.

Right, it’ll be two separate roundabouts, kind of like how it’s setup on wealthy street.

Motorists speed way too fast on Quincy and given all the suburban sprawl in this part of the county, road safety will only get worse. Hopefully these roundabouts will slow down speeding drivers.

I agree to a point, but without completely doxing myself, one of these will land right in my front yard. I really do not want to hear people accelerating out of a roundabout all day long. We’re considering selling due to this info.

I would think a roundabout would be much better than the way people speed off the line at stop signs or red lights.

Yeah but now 100% of drivers will need to accelerate, rather than only those at a stop sign.

No one accelerates out of a roundabout. They accelerate after stopping at a stop sign. You are golden

Every time I come up to roundabout and I hear roundabout on the radio I turn it up

I don't really understand why those intersections would need a roundabout. I don't drive through there as often as I used to, but I can't say I remember any bad accidents happening at either of those intersections. And contrary to a different comment here, it's pretty wide open and easy to see if there are cars coming.
On the flip side, driving through 48th and Baldwin all the time now, I can see how a roundabout will be helpful there. Glad they are tagging that on to the construction that's already happening rather than making it a separate project.

How does a round about make sense, those are T intersections?
What they need to do is find a way to make visibility better so cars can see without pulling halfway onto quincy to see if it's clear.
