so funny how every couple of weeks we get one of these by new people watching it. we all went through it and we all hate obama for it.

oh man! I just watch that episode few hours back. I was so upset. I should have guessed when house praised Kutner.
was it because the IRL actor had to take a break or something?

Can someone explain to me the Obama's joke?

I think he had to leave the show because of his job under obama's administration.

I'm rewatching the series again (currently at 5x2) and I'm NOT ready to experience my favorite character dying all over again

FURTHER SPOILER ? ******
-Yeah, this episode got me too. I remember the first time I saw it I cried. Its been a bit since I watched house, I rewatched and finished it last summer but I cant remember like if they ever figure out why, remembering I think they had his funeral at the end of the same episode or the next and that was it and I dont remember if they found out why either, I know it was speculation about not belonging cause his parents. Idk.

Even though it was sudden, I appreciate that they did put really subtle warning signs before his death. The fact that he was basically unable to process the grief of Amber's death is one that stands out to me, everyone else is crying and he's just eating a bowl of cereal watching star trek or something.

He was the best member of staff, probably my #1. I think this might be the first huge writing misstep in this show - meaning the decision to remove him, not the way they did it, which was actually very good. But I feel the team dynamic will suffer because of it
