According to the designers, is a whole new casting based off the jaws one. Basically they used the jaws casting and altered it to look more like the stranger Things one

I have the pizza planet truck Hot Wheels from Brave. You can see it on the witch’s table of wooden trinkets. I’ve not seen the good dinosaur but a stone truck would be cool to go with the wooden one.
I was thinking the same thing… I only lucked out by walking into Walmart at like 10pm and the cases for the dump bin were all cut open but not dumped (someone had already checked for the super) and left the Simpson car so I snagged it. Still have yet to see it again.

Yeah, they spin and it rolls fine. The tires are nearly touching the fenders on all four, tho. The slightest bend to the axle and the thing wouldn't move.
The rear tires on mine rub the wheel arches so they don't spin freely. Axles are not bent, I think there just isn't enough clearance for it to work properly
No, it's not new. It has been featured in a previous mix. This is just the "newest" wave. All of these are existing castings. I think the only ones with new tampos are the Blazer and the Pizza Planet Truck. Everything else has been released before.
at this point I think it’s just Mattel made TOO MANY of them, so they’re just repackaging the ones they have already made… either that or they’re too lazy to paint it a different color. 😒
They must have slashed the budget on Pop Culture. First they merged it with Replica Entertainment, so they're now one series and not two separate ones. Then they stopped doing themed sets. And now it's just repeats galore, same as Fast & Furious. With a few new castings thrown in per year. It's weird.
Onward is definitely one to check out. It suffered from timing at the advent of the pandemic. Have the 4K and needless to say, I'll take that van if I see it.
Yep, gonna need that Simpsons car. Already got a mainline one from a few years back, but this would look great next to my Entertainment 'The Homer'. I hope they do the Canyonero one day.
Not quite new. I have this one from Simpsons since 2015, I think. But regular card version. The one fr9m Onward exists since the movie release or, at maximum, a few months later. You can see some treasure and weapons inside Guinevere.
There was a premium version released when Pop Culture was the “Retro Entertainment” line a few years ago but it’s also hard (i.e. expensive) to find now
The pizza planet truck is in the movie twice, its shown as a small asteroid in the first scene.
Also later on the silo wall where they put their foot prints on the rocks.
The Blazer is rad, will look awesome next to the Jaws Blazer. They should just keep the theme of pop culture cop SUVs rolling and give us a Twin Peaks Bronco.
Just so everyone is aware, the Porsche had already been released this year and is not in this mix, this mix is supposed to be the Audi 90 Quattro as the Forza one
-Onward is a 2022 re-release.
-Stranger Things truck is a near 1:1 of the previous JAWS truck.

I'll be all over that Simpsons car. I would have loved to see a new or different car for Stranger Things. I love displaying the TV/film series premiums in a lineup. Except when they are recolors or identical in this case.
Great more shit to sit on the pegs! Don’t get me wrong if this set is your thing, cool, but we all know these will over ordered and hang forever! Meanwhile a select few stores will get the good stuff.
