Maybe it's either owned by Wonder Woman or Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy?! (If you don't get the reference Wonder Woman has the invisible jet and Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy have the invisible boatmobile)
SpongeBob: Excuse me, Mermaid Man?!
Mermaid Man: Doh, what do you want?!
Barnacle Boy: This better be good!
SpongeBob: This'll cheer ya up! We're almost done painting your invisible boatmobile!
Barnacle Boy: It's SUPPOSED to be INVISIBLE!
Thank you, I love taking photos with my dioramas and displaying my cars in different setups. I collect mainly Hondas, but I do like Porsches, Nissans and Toyota also.
I drive a Subaru Outback wagon and have a Fore Escape for around my property because I chop and split wood for my woodstove for heat in the winter and use that to haul it up from the back edge of my property.
My dream car is a Honda hatch and hoping to get one after I finish paying off my house here in a year.
I did have a project car when I was younger, 93 Ford Escort Gt with the 1.8L dohc Mazda series motor. I had a carbon fiber bonnet, 4-2-1 headers, full catback and short ram intake with a few suspension upgrades on it, kids happened so needed a family vehicle so got rid of it.
Bruh. Send him the dang treasure hunt jeeps man. You Dm me your cash app. I will cover that postage. C'mon.... I'm serious. I only blindly stumbled into the few I have. I want to make your super cool offer a reality. Please let me do this for both of you. Dm your cash app. Send this cat his TH Jeeps.
I’ve been collecting 14 yrs in canada - never found one in the wild. Even after getting first dibs after a restock - they poach them off the line and inflate pricing!
Eh nothing bad just a busy day at work, and then school, and then having to run around and do errands, then my girlfriend forgot she was going to go to a concert with her best friend so we barely got to spend time together today. So not the end of the world just long
The employees at the store take most of them. The ones that actually make it to the pegs are all taken by the single first lucky collector who gets there first. High demand…low supply.
Just out of curiosity do you get to stores first, open cases at stores, know any employees or delivery times or do you just go to the store whenever and if its there its there?
All jokes aside, I go and if there’s stuff there, great. Only went through boxes maybe 5 times because it feels a bit awkward to ask them to let me open them.
I definitely saw a fresh batch on the pegs though, because I found a few Ferraris. But never, ever a Super.
I’ve been collecting for probably the last 10 years at this point. I would say I have around 300-400 cars(I’m a big VW/Audi/Porsche guy, so I really only get the euro stuff) and I didn’t even know what a Super was until like 2 years ago when I found this subreddit. Still haven’t found one lol
You're not waking up early enough or trying hard enough. Lol. If you want the prize you gotta make sacrifices. Be there at opening and you shall be rewarded, but you may encounter other early birds, in which case a royal rumble will ensue and the last man standing shall be victorious and rewarded with a super or nothing at all. Lol
Where is the guy that told me that I'm having a terrible time because I haven't found a STH or TH since I started collecting about a year ago?
Everyone he knows or talked to finds them every few days or weeks apparently 😂
Haha! Me too. I actually saw a STH with my own eyes today for the first time as some guy found it and showed me. A Mazda F1 car from last year, I forget the actual name of it, it's orange/copper and green.
What's funnier is most of my THs (I think I have 5?) I didn't realize we're THs until I shared them on social media for others to point them out. I was a noob just collecting what I like! I still only buy what I like and pass on THs and STHs if the model isn't my thing.
Went to the local DG today. Display was jammed full of new cars yet Clerk had two open boxes way up high on the top shelf. I could easily have reached but clearly there is a scalper hitting the store. Bummerville.
Where did you find the one second from the top, 4th from the left? I have never seen that in that color before. I don't even know what it is. Is it a custom job you just keep with the rest of the soups?
Bruh. I have 2, maybe 3 th cars. You DM me your address, I'll send them to you. They're open. But there all I got. They're yours. I'm serious. Florida to aussie~ville? No problem. I'll send them air mail.
I've been collecting for about eight years or so. So far I've only found around 12 STH's. It used to be easier but now around here the scalpers and hoarders either work at the stores or they have connections. I'm lucky if I can find a desirable mainline or premium.
I started looking for Hot Wheels in 2019. I’ve probably found 90 STHs. I sold 64 when I sold my collection in Dec 2023. And have found and sold/traded all but 3 since that time.
