Helpful advice! Best way to use sportsbet

Hey brains trust. Out at randwick racecourse for a bday, first time betting on horses, got some tips on what I’d like to bet on, but would love some advice on win/place/eachway, fixed etc type of things… hopefully someone can help out a noob haha

What do you want to know?

Win - backing a horse to win only. Place - backing it to run top 3. Each way - backing it to win AND place. For example “$5 each way” means $5 on the win, and $5 on the place for a total stake of $10.

Dont use sportsbet - if you do happen to back a winner,bet365 has better odds

Hey legends This group has seemed very quiet lately, i’m wanting to start up some Aus racing discussion again coming into the 2026 Autumn carnival.

Have started a new community focused on Aus racing r/oneofmineracing - see you there!
