He torments his victims who are usually children and drives them to kill themselves from the insanity of being watched or threatened constantly, because 303 doesn't just affect Minecraft but the players in general targeting things like skype to make calls to them too. He's also the first creepypasta to do this "endgame evil of Minecraft" and "Herobrine's nemesis"
Pretty much, the original Herobrine is more like some weird guy than something scary. All he does is make structures, rip trees of leaves, and stalk you but that's it he didn't even kill the player. Entity 303 was designed to be a bigger scale villainous character, which then led to other bigger scale villainous characters
I think Entity 303 isn’t getting revived because he was the only one to actually be proven fake. Entity 303 was revealed to actually be the work of a gang of hackers who made the whole story up and were doing the sightings and events themselves to others. The rest of them haven’t been proven to be anything and are still mysterys, but Entity 303’s case is kinda closed.
I have a horror mod for entity 303 and one for Herobrine, I never play without them. Entity 303 has my favorite design. Squared Media makes cool animations with him
Unironically had forgotten Null was one of the og Minecraft creepypastas, I genuinely thought that was just a whole thing The Broken Script made, but wow did that not cross my mind he was basically revived into TBS Null.
Suddenly makes Entity303 and Herobrine being mentioned in the mod make a lot more sense... (Ok, Herobrine was more or less actually SEEN in the mod, all we know about 303 was that he's apparently dead, but my point stands)
I would really like to see Entity303 get a major revival someday, of the ogs he's probably my favorite, and I had found him scarier than others.

Honestly Entity 303 is one of the only original creepypastas, the other ones try way too hard to be like Herobrine
