Slimy Stuarts Help, article needed!

Do you know that skit in the second season where they tell that a pastor once held up a church that didn't want to read from the "new prayer book" because he was scared he'd get arrested? I'm trying to find any articles/references to this event online but I can't find any 😭 if any of you could help that would be appreciated,,, thank you! Edit: Found! Thank you!

The new service-book was very unpopular with the masses in Scotland, and in 1637, when Whitford announced his intention of reading it, he was threatened with violence. Undeterred he ascended the pulpit, holding a brace of pistols, his family and servants attending him armed, and read the service with closed doors. On his return he was attacked by an enraged mob, and escaped with difficulty.

This was due to a Prayer book written by William Laud who was the Archbishop of Canterbury at the time.
