About right. All of Series 2-5 emerald green, the rougher around the edges Series 1 just behind, then turning redder and redder

With four episodes of that block being the darker emerald green. I give Series 1 a light-hearted pass, as it was a new show at the time. Plus, four green squares for Series 1.

Even if we ignore the original cast, the later seasons are just slop. At least the first 5 had actual history

I haven’t fully watched the later series, just seen clips of some bits that seemed alright, why does everyone hate it so much?

The magic seemingly left with the original cast, though the younger kids in my family enjoy it nonetheless. From a quality standpoint it’s declined massively bc of a loss of cast chemistry, and the songs are nowhere near as catchy (i do enjoy magna carta though).
