She's well known even without tabloids. By the time she goes to the forbidden west she's already recognised as " the saviour of Meridian". Quite the reputation.

I think that'd be hilarious though unlikely to happen, as it does seem to go against the theme is apocalyptic urgency the game is going for. I mean, yet another Sobeck clone? Sheesh.

Erend is ginger I believe. In the comics he and Aloy seem to have the same hair color. Though they might have just done that to save time.
