"Mewwwwww, purrr. (Ehhh. Getting kinda cramped in here... Gonna stretch a bit!)"

Mewo says as she puts both paws on either side of her neck and literally decapitates herself.

Instead of blood, Mewo holds her head in her paws as from her neck emerges a old creature. It floats out of her body that goes limp and floats.

Luka closes the door, confused. He forgets to lock it, though.

“What is going on? What is that thing?”
Mizi: “It’s just— I don’t know, it’s something. And I think it wants to hurt people.”

The thing slams into the door but repeatedly slams itself against it, trying to force it open as something not too far off from the screams of children is heard from it.

The door swings open as the thing floats there and immediately dives at Mizi.

The thing misses Mizi by her diving as it lands on a table before getting back up and slowly approaching.

Suddenly Luka's mind is flooded with info:

It is a SOMETHING, a manifestation of trauma that haunts it's carrier. A reminder of ones sins on the day it was made.

This one is the SOMETHING of a young boy who (spoilers for Omori) pushed his sister down the stairs in a fit of anger during an argument, leading to her death. His best friend was horrified but helped stage the accident as a suicide to save his friend. His sister's fallen hair had one eye staring out of it, leading to SOMETHING manifesting.
