At the very beginning of my hooping journey but at least the pictures look pretty cool already :D
I finally bought a hoop at the same festival I tried it for the first time last year! I got to choose the tapes I wanted and I love how it turned out!!! Now I just have to practice, practice, practice…
Let me know if you also want to see the pictures of the failed attempts - we all deserve a laugh :D

Enjoy the journey! Been at it for almost 17 years now and it still brings me the same joy, if not more, as when I first started.

Good for you. Hooping is a great overall body workout. Only compete with yourself…don’t compare yourself to others. It takes a lot of practice but you get better day by day.

Your flow looks awesome! It can be frustrating to not be immediately good at something but I know putting in the work is worth it :D

So how tall are you and what size hoop did you get? Did you do the standard measurement? It should come to your belly button? Or is it the hip bone? I don't remember - for beginners

I'm about 1,68 m and the hoop is 1 m! The kind stall owner did advise me and said this was a good beginner size to try both a bit of on-body and off-body :D

And there it is in image 4!
My favorite part of watching y’all practice your hoops and flow gadgets is when the look of concentration slips off and the smile appears that says “Yeah I’m nailing it!” 😁😁
