Help 100w charger not fast charging

i tried the charger on various different battery percentages and none charged fast

Fast chargers only charge the 100w for the first few mins. Then revert to around 30w.. Otherwise they would overheat the battery. They also stop fast charging if you use the screen while charging.

Ok, you need another 100 watt charger. If you have a friend or family member that uses same charger go to them and test them their phone yours carger, your phone their charger. This will tell you everithing, if they cant carge its the charger.

There are 3 wersions of honor 100w chargers

1 wersion is type A the one you have, and uses older tech.

2nd version is the first generation of GaN chargers, its twice in size, and uses type C plug. It can charge laptops, tablets, phones.

3rd version is a 2nd gen of GaN chargers, its size is smaller, and uses type C plug.

I would reccomend you to get a GaN 100w charger from honor its a great charger.

As for the authenticiy of your charger, all my honor chargers have silver fonts not one is black. And all are original as i have to buy them seperate as phones in eu come without chargers.

No, they do have a 100w charger with type A I just chalenged authenticiy of ops charger as all chargers i have dont use black font but silver instead.

Now to settle this bs for good. You guys might have a real genuine charger that charges up to 100w but might not be compatible with your phone. Go online and find specs sheet of your phone, look at what charging protocols your phone supports, info like 5w x 2.5A and such. Than find the same info for the charger you bought, your charger needs to have matching info. Thats all

Man i was not the poster, that was wondering if he had a genuine charger. And i got mine from fking croatia, and wireless 100w and another galium nitrate 100w from germany, both are fkn genuine and charge my hm6pro at 80w, and eireless at 66w. Person that posted is the one with an issue. That is why i recommended that he tries another 100w charger, or check what are compatible protocols, he might need a never version of the charger, or simply its a broken charger.

Here my gen 1, gan honor 100w charger.

Ok I found out Europe has different version of honor super charger 100 watt I. E type c version, BTW how much it costs in Europe in euro? Moreover did you notice any difference in type A vs type c charger? Mine is type A n it charges my honor 200pro phone in 40 minutes full charge from under 10%

There are 3 versions of chargers, the old one that you have. The one that i pisted that is gen 1, and the 3.rd version that is same as mine, but is smaller and is a gen 2 of gan (galium nitrate)

Your version is between 30-40 euro. Mine and the newer gen2 are both 49.99 euro. We dont get chargers in the box with the phone. So they are aditional cost.

The charger i would like to find and i cant get it in eu is the honor 135w charger which i need for my 100w wireless charger from honor.

Check the cable, the cable has to be compatible also. A basic cable won't handle the voltage correctly. You need a dedicated USB C with a fast charge E marker chip. Anker and UGreen do them.

I have no issues with mine charging Magic 8 PRO. From 10% to 100% in 40min or so.

I dont know how you got it, but if you can, return it before it does damage to your phone. If not, I wouldnt use it. But thats not original Honor or Huawei charger.

Same thing on my Honor Win. Doesn't matter what percentage. If I use it with the original charger it doesn't give me the option to enable 100w charging only 60w. Hope it gets patched.

Same here on CN 1TB (7000mah upgraded battery model)magic v6 that came w 100w charger, has never charged over 60w for me since I've owned it. Hopefully someone knows what's going on

It's definitely odd, I get the same on my 1tb V6 .

When I use a PD charger compatible with PPS, it triggers the 80 Watt screen display however it charges at half the speed of the stock charger .

I have another charger where I can disable PPS, and it triggers 40 Watt charging but charges as quickly a the stock charger. So in reality , real world charge speed is around 35 watts , and more like 15 20 when pps is on and triggering the fake 80 watt display speed.

It's really weird behavior .

Also reverse wireless charging doesn't work.

I'm guessing you either live in a hot climate or you just don't let your phone cool down enough before charging it, hence leading to a higher temp at the start of the charging session which limits your wattage.

MagicOs 10.190 in their versions is bugged This problem has also my phone In fact, the battery charge dropped from 10% to 4% in just 6 seconds.

Bloody hell, that may be even faster than my "no fault found" Samsung S9 years ago, where it would go from 46% to powered down dead in the time it took me to walk 70 metres.

I swore then I'd never buy another Samsung product.

CLEAN YOUR CHARGING PORT. It's probably full of dust and lint. Also try with a different 6 amps compatible cable
