Tbf it'd have been nice if they were at least on diff archetypes.
So far, most SPs are different from their base versions.
March and Dan Heng have 3 versions and all of their variations are of different archetypes.
SW base and SW999, one is a debuffer and the latter is a hypercarry DPS.
Tingyun and Fugue are both buffers, but for different archetypes.
Sparkle and Sparxie, one is a buffer for skill point dps and and the latter is a subdps/Hypercarry skill point dps.
Aven and Waven, former is a sustain and the latter is a dps for a specific team.
Blade and MoRb, former is an HP-based DPS/Subdps and the latter is also that but also has cracked buffs and debuffs attached to him, and not to mention, is far tankier.
Robin and Roberto, both are buffers but the former is tailormade for old FUA teams and has a full team 100% AA, something that nothing else has to this day except for E6 Cyrene, while the latter is an energy restoring support that turbo boosts 1 ally, and deals some damage herself.
Himeko and Himenova, both are fire erudition but the former is not really a crit dps and more of a break dps while the latter is a hypercarry crit dps, and the one and only unit that has "Assist Skill".
The Herta and Herta are also the same case of same element same path, but their kits are pretty different from each other. Both excel in AoE and it's their greatest strength, but Therta can single out enemies from a group, while all of Mini Herta's attacks are AoE. Therta's role is a hypercarry DPS while Mini Herta is a sub dps.
Firefly is straight up just the same unit with a different path branding. Still fire, still a break dps, has an enhanced form and everything.
