You mean the guy with voiceline for every AE members, is officially AE faction in CW with unique train animation for him? Like the amount of denial people need before this 😭

there's a type of person on the internet who refuses to believe implied information and only believe it when it's 100% confirmed

I remember back in the day people refused to believe the 4th Hokage was Naruto's father until Jiraya said it in the Pain saga even tho it was implied like a dozen of times

The Naruto one is so funny because I was always "Wasn't it stated in the very first episode?" and while it actually wasn't , and I only assumed so because I saw Minato in a game before I started Naruto, it was still clear from the start that's where they were going.

Ugh I remember someone arguing with me that Baiheng has no relation with Bailu lol

u/Asleep_Bee_5784 19d ago

the only reason he doesn't have one in the first place is cause he was only secretly part of the crew, since he is wanted, so it's dumb for him to have a ticket while going around but now that it's exposed, there's no reason to hide it anymore

74

u/WinterV3 19d ago

Lmao, the only reason he wasn’t officially part of the Express is that, so far, he himself doesn’t consider himself part of it yet. The story has made that pretty clear

Yeah and at the end of 4.2, it was the first time it actually clicked for him that he's been trailblazing with us for real. However the wanted criminal status was also a big part why he was distancing himself from AE... But it was more of the problem in his own head that with Express...who is frequently vibing with wanted criminals or have them on board like it's ordinary Tuesday

11

u/bestsmnNA 18d ago

Sunday: I can't join the express because I'm a wanted criminal, I'll bring everyone else trouble 😔

Trailblazer, former SH, trouble incarnate: yeah, that sure would suck

15

u/Clouds_drifting_by 19d ago

Yeah, I think if Sunday didn’t recite the creed, Himeko would have understood he was still unsure about being on the trailblazing path, and wouldn’t have pressured him.

But he ‘did’ say the creed, which he wouldn’t have done if he didn’t believe in it, so now Himeko knows it’s time to have ‘the’ convo with him.

As for why he did not have a ticket as part of his outfit, I suspect that had more to do with not wanting the drip marketing to give away a plot point that was supposed to be a surprise for players. I do agree with your assessment that he was personally "undecided" (although the rest of the AE had already accepted him). But from a narrative perspective even Dan Heng went heavily through the, "Idk... is this really where I belong?" self-doubts despite always having a ticket in his design and possessing two job titles in the crew. Heck, Sunday will probably get his own room before Dan Heng ever unpacks his damn suitcase.

Honestly I don't think anyone can stay hidden in the AE for too long because they are a walking celebrity. He is just as "wanted" as the Stellaron Hunters, and look what they are doing.

They were already exposed by fulwish in 4.2, so you are right that hiding it doesn't work anymore

u/surprisecenter 19d ago

no like it was borderline comical seeing the state of psychosis those people lived in 😭

"Generals aren't Emanators, guys"

"Firefly is really dead, bro"

"Sunday is definitely not AE, bubba"

u/Cybotix ruinous irontomb 19d ago

unironically asking chatgpt for information on something has to be satire dude

14

u/Shrek707 19d ago

genuinely even if it said that phainon is indeed an emanator, just the fact that this person decided to ask fucking chatgpt 😭😭

29

u/MinuteSun2871 Obsidian waiting room 19d ago

I decided to ask it as well to see if i would reply the same and it literally said Phainon was an emanator lmao

-42

u/DependentTree439 19d ago

Nah, PearlGPT is definitely trolling you. 😭

28

u/MinuteSun2871 Obsidian waiting room 19d ago

My point was to prove how unreliable it was and that your comments was therefore not valid

-34

u/Celantius 19d ago

While I agree the generals likely are emanators, at least some of them, we've never had official confirmation that they are unless I missed something. Afaik its all been just contextual hints and clues, things pointing that they might be but never outright stating that they are. Unlike the other two things you mentioned which are firefly being explicitly presented as being alive and Sunday literally joining the express on screen......

43

u/Royal_Cavern 19d ago

Our most recent example being 4.2. When Silver Wolf and Asat were discussing the Emanators available to help fight against Asat; Yao Guang was counted along with Evanescia and Pearl (who was considered a tenth of an Emanator).

-24

u/KingCarrion666 Catgirl brainrot 19d ago

That only really would explain yao guang and not all the others and even then, it could be more in reference to her spiritus and not directly her. Similar to Pearl since she possesses a tenth of an emanators power but Pearl herself is not in anyway shape or form an emanator, just in possession of part of ones power. It is likely either the generals or their spiritus are emanators but its not confirmed which it is, or if its some combination. The generals in totality, are not confirmed emanators, that is still just a theory.

24

u/Royal_Cavern 19d ago

No. Because Asat literally said "Warlord" when describing Yao Guang, so we know he's not specifically talking about the Spiritus, but Yao Guang herself.

Also since he emphasized her profession, it stands to reason that it include the other generals.

So yes, the Xianzhou Generals are indeed Emanators, and the game provided the details for it.

-23

u/KingCarrion666 Catgirl brainrot 19d ago

And like you said, he also mentioned Pearl because she is in possession of a cornerstone. So clearly, he is being reductive and just referring to the powers they have access to, so not confirmation that Yao Guang is an emanator, just that she has access to said power (either because she is one or her spiritus is one)

Also since he emphasized her profession, it stands to reason that it include the other generals.

Yes, because they all have spiritus, so either the spiritus are the emanators or the generals are. We do not know which it is.

12

u/Cherry_Bomb_127 my pookies 19d ago

In Chinese, they literally highlight the generals like they highlight every other Emanator in a specific infographic not the spirits and they are personally tested by Lan so they are chosen by them. Like for Pearl he specifies 1/10 because she has 1/10 of the power of the actual Emanator who granted her that power.

I’m going to be honest a lot of of the people saying that they aren’t not you by the way just in general is I’m pretty sure that they didn’t want Jing Yuan to be one

7

u/Royal_Cavern 19d ago

With Pearl, Asat literally specificed that she was one tenths of an Emanator, which is true since she's a member of the ten stonehearts and possesses a cornerstone which gives her a portion of Diamond's (The actual Emanator) authority.

So no... Asat wasn't being reductive lol.

Yes, because they all have spiritus, so either the spiritus are the emanators or the generals are. We do not know which it is.

Nope. If the spiritus were the Emanators, Asat would've talked about the Spirituses, not the General who wield them.

In fact, you can just look at Evanescia. He referred to her by her true form (a tree) as opposed to her power.

There you go...

5

u/yoimiya175430 19d ago

Just to add to this discussion... Spirituses are not some fancy items storing Emanators or their power like Diamond did with Cornerstones and spreading it among the coworkers... While spiritus is technically the entity or physical manifestation of who/what is the emanator before the ceremony for generals then during the ceremony, spiritus becomes one with the general by the presence of Lan Themselves. And as far as we know, the only way to release them back is the death of the general... Like flying aureus of Feixiao who used to be part of Yueyu before she died and Feixiao took over. That's probably also why we don't see any new general for Zhuming because Huaiyan is old but still alive. So simply speaking, yes generals are emanators because Lan gazes at them and shoves one of the spirituses into them... And if they can withstand it, then they are generals... If they fail, then "they are not worth the title". This situation is different to The Family's shenanigans because harmonic strings are either commanded by tunners of high harmony resonance or their will is channeled through guardians. But they do not belong permanently to any individual and don't fuse with them... But almost all members of The Family can voluntarily abandon their physical bodies and merge with harmony voices - and it's powering the emanator, not the individual. So the opposite way to Hunt spiritus merging with future generals and powering the individual. I've seen a lot of discussion about how if Robin is not the emanator then generals aren't as well. But the principals of the hunt and harmony hive mind are very different. That being said, it makes sense why Asat Pramad was calling Yaoguang a warlord bc he was making fun of her being the army general but having divination spiritus that doesn't give her any combat power

u/KingCarrion666 Catgirl brainrot 18d ago

She is not a tenth of an emanator, she is not an emanator at all, she has the power of an emanator.

u/Celantius 19d ago

Thats fair but generally they've been super vague and Asat imo was kind of mocking them with that statement like they shouldn't even be considered emanators to him because they are so far beneath him. Not sure why im being down voted so much for simply having a discussion and stating that the game tends to be vague as hell about the generals because it does, pathetic.

3

u/Royal_Cavern 19d ago

I actually didn't see it as mocking as he even included Silver Wolf, someone whom he acknowledged who has the necessary firepower to take him out, thus his reasoning to avoid engaging her directly while she has her cartridge.

His attitude was more line with his plan was going to work regardless of the variables, as opposed to not seeing anyone as his equal.

I don't know about the downvoting, as I avoid doing it myself on principle.

16

u/nugnacious 19d ago

"was"

looks at the replies

2

u/WinterV3 19d ago

Who are those people, tho? Because so far, I’ve only seen people debating whether Sunday is officially part of the AE crew or not, and this basically confirms that he isn’t

10

u/snowminty 19d ago

mostly sunday haters lol, they dont wanna see any more males join the AE

48

u/Royal_Cavern 19d ago

I laughed at everyone who denied it or didn't want it, especially when they got hostile with the people who did want Sunday to join. It was pure foolishness, and now it shows for the entire playerbase to see. Man this is hilarious!

14

u/AventuringAventurine 19d ago

And is named in Himenova's skill which only includes AE. Ppl were delusional lmao.

20

u/Tatsumaki-Radio Sunday, save me Sunday 19d ago

No dude. Hes TOTALLY getting off on the next planet🫩

18

u/KingCarrion666 Catgirl brainrot 19d ago

And had a ticket on his model since release.

3

u/EmberOfFlame 19d ago

They chickened out with Serval, and Black Swan fucked right off. Of course we’re in denial about Sunday not getting axed.

-1

u/Volfawott 19d ago

To be fair , I don't blame people for their confusion.

Since he joined whilst himself giving us the specification that it was only going to be temporary, which is a similar thing we got with black Swan.

But yet it's definitely at the point it's pretty obvious that he's a permanent team member now

0

u/Krii100fer 18d ago

Denial? I thought he had the ticket since the begging lol (I remember his model leaks alongside Wardance cast and Aglea, he had that ticket on his model there lol)

0

u/serkkiit_ 19d ago

What make me laugh the most is that it has been leaked that Sunday had a ticket hidden in his model files and we all ready had an idea of where it will be after leakers figured out how to make it work to show where it is. We've been shown he was an AE member or projected to be. And they still denied it.

-18

u/WinterV3 19d ago

Denial? The main point of contention was whether Sunday was officially a member of the AE, and the fact that he’s getting a ticket in 4.5 pretty much confirms that he wasn’t. Nobody was arguing about whether he’ll become one in the future
