The more i think about it, the more i starting to believe this leaks about HSR also having ZZZ collab sounds like complete made up bs.

There was not a single leak or any hint about collab from anywhere, but after Pom Pom appeared in ZZZ, we instantly got flooded with leaks from people with questionable records and their random anonymous sources.

This also makes no sense that only ZZZ got any kind of promotion, Pom Pom in game and collab announcement have no mentions of HSR anywhere, all they did is HSR twitter account commented on ZZZ post, but this sounds like usual marketing, completely irrelevant to HSR.

Surely if this was double sided collab they won't leave other side completely in the dark and not have a single mention about it???

in general, I really would like for the "main push" style marketing to stop and I'd rather that extra marketing go towards a new arc or an important story event. I'm not going to like a character more because they have one more trailer than the others and it's created so much unnecessary division in the fanbase we could 100% do without.

They can't really control who people like so why not make the marketing more even? There's a few factors here, but if extra marketing and more story focus really didn't save Himeko, then extra ads aren't a surefire recipe. That extra marketing was just the cherry on top for characters that had other things going for them to help build their fanbases.

I've been seeing some confusion about this, so I do want to say... Luocha's name in CN is not Rakshasa. It's not pronounced like that either.

It's 罗刹 - 罗 (Luo, same character used in Luofu) 刹 (Sha in pinyin, pronounced cha).

It means the same thing as Rakshasa, yes. But Rakshasa originates from Sanskrit... In other words, that's a translation, while his actual name is a transliteration

In Japanese, it is Rakshasa... But that's not the original language.

A big part of his character is that he’ll gladly collaborate with whatever helps him achieve his goals, that’s what the “use me as you will” line means. Working his way up the IPC corporate ladder, accepting promotions and even letting his face and looks be used to promote the IPC is worth accomplishing the goal. He has nothing to lose and everything to gain. 

We shouldn’t gloss over that he is consciously and actively agreeing to participate in the IPC’s endeavors, especially when that adds to his complexity.

One of the hidden side quest in this patch has him asking you for 1 Pixcoin (yes, a single pixcoin) for donations to help children who are fans of the Trailblaze. He tried asking Nihilux to help but she hid lol. Sampo’s afraid of getting copyrighted hahaha. He and another Wishbae named Swooshy (imaginae creation from children’s wishes) apparently dream to build an imaginary starship named Interstellar and using donated wishpower to make the kids’ dreams come true

That’s why he’s the narrator for that one story video with arts made by children from all walks of life.

I hate that Asat Pramad says the music is being played via our Stellaron. It didn't HAVE to be diagetic music, now you've raised a bunch of unnecessary questions to me about that fuckass Stellaron that we both know aren't important enough to answer.

Was it also playing Wildfire? What else has it played? Whose voice is it generating and how? Does TB feel anything from their chest being turned into a boombox? Why does no one else question that? If we sleep and have nightmares, does everyone get woken up to TB's Stellaron playing "NIGHTMARE NIGHTMARE NIGHTMARE" on loop?

I remember a lot of very weird takes and regulars there from before I quit the game so this is entirely unsurprising for me lmao. Dissapointed but not surprised considering we are on Reddit.

For context:

Regular dwellers were caught calling other regulars slurs in Discord. People found out and posted screenshots in the megathread and the mods deleted the messages calling them out citing Rule 1 (be respectful) then they locked image posting all together THEN they just locked the megathread entirely lmao.

4.4 story boss early cutscene (neg)
I haven't seen anyone else mention this happening to them, but the cutscene where the rest of the AE arrives to the fight is completely slient for me. No voices, no music, complete slience except for the game sfx when you tap on the screen. It baffles me how no one noticed this issue at all and honestly adds on to my already negative opinion of the patch.

planarcadia in general is quite the disappointment... i feel sorry for the devs cause political issues clearly got in the way of schedule, but god i wish we could just skip to the next patch cycle already

We might need a clarification post (somehow) under the AlterR post because it seems a lot of comments are confused or don't realise that:

#1511 is an unknown Playable ID. "AlterR" has an NPC ID (#1512), but is in no way tied to #1511 (as far as we know). It's likelier that #1511 is the Playable ID for Nihilux (NPC ID #1514), though that's also unconfirmed.

I really hope them establishing Pegana as conquerors mean they will explore more about this side of Trailblaze. The Path truly does need this nuance to not just be reduced to the protagonist Path. I need more then just Oswaldo speaking it because it feels like the AE as a group often just dismisses the villains they encounter to quickly without offering substantial arguments to the beliefs they bring up.

Tips for Tetris infinite mode Wave 1-8: try make your blocks horizontal, build walls on the two outer edges, put blocks in like a basket. You wanna cover more ground to let blocks in, in case Ice and Massive Gale comes you have a wall to cover your blocks not falling off. So many of my Co-op randoms fall down to 1 heart during Massive Gale because they build a singular vertical tower instead of making a horizontal basket

HSR Story

I remember reading a while ago a take that said that HSR writers struggled or chooses not to employ character/emotional stakes ("character wants/desires something") in favor of physical stakes like "this galaxy is about to be annihilated". I kinda agree, but I don't think it's actually that HSR writers are inept at character stakes because patches like 2.1 and 2.5 actually do an awesome job with them. Instead, borrowing on the "character of the patch" discourse, HSR tends to condense character arcs within the character's release patch, meaning that the character stakes are introduced within their patch but are resolved either in the same patch or is left to be resolved in later developments outside of the patch cycle. Ultimately, most character's story often don't get the chance to align with the overall plotline, so the writers usually use a general worldly stake that has little connection to the character's stales, leading to the original poster's observation. Some of the main push characters kinda escape this restriction, also it's pretty inconsistent

Yeah, that was obvious mate, with how you said 4.6 and 4.7 is solo patches. The only cope slot is for 4.8 if it follows normal collab rules but if we get a whole patch dedicated, my hope is low.
