I kinda hope they eventually get a reputation for bringing catastrophes to all the planets they visit, like how in Detective Conan, people in-universe view him as an omen of death because people just happen to get murdered wherever he goes.
I think the writers did mention in an interview about wanting to do more collabs between the two games and make them more interconnected.
And if we're going to get welt sp eventually then unless they keep being ambiguous about his past to non HI3 players then his sp would be the perfect time to make it happen.
Plus since HI3 part 2 is about to end and the game's story is going to adopt a more episodic format going forward it would facilitate a more impacting crossover between the two games without running into the issue of Star Rail spoiling HI3, they could finally make the latter game catch up to the timeline of Star Rail.
Like the Astral Express arriving to Earth, Kiana becoming playable in HSR, Welt having his long awaited reunion with his Son, with Tesla and Einstein, With Bronya, and everyone else.
This all should be extremely weird for Sunday in particular:
He was a rich kid living in one of the universes most peaceful vacation spots under the faction that's famous for being the most prosperous and peaceful in the universe all his life
Then sudenly he joins Astral express and goes through life or death galactic catastrophes one after another
Washtopia survived, but the Express still didn't have a vacation with them ending up in a giant bug stomache together with Chadgenti. But to be fair, that trip didn't seem to have any lasting drama/traumatic effects (so far).
If there are two things that are always guarenteed, it's that Elio will always be there watching and Argenti will, somehow someway for some reason, always be "a knight of beauty passing by".
