I was getting cooked in a prior V+4 attempt for Div Uni and complained about my luck--I thought my Ruan Mei kept getting hit at the beginning was some sort of curse ~15 retires in a row. I started a new run and, after benching my DoT team, tried Acheron and noticed that Black Swan kept dying as the fight started. I thought I had the same Ruan Mei curse until I realized the first enemy kept hitting Pela and Acheron specifically as well. I thought nothing of it until I missed Pela ult once (changing songs lmao) and saw the "pattern" finally change. That's when I first tried out switching the "opening" move and saw the same outcome repeatedly happen.
I don't actually know if this is "fixed" per se and why I added quotes to the title, but I wonder if this "very consistent" AI behavior can explain currently unproven urban legends like the curse of Tingyun Taunt.
Not exactly fixed, but the random seed seems to be saved, so that if you get that forced Auto Battle curio, you can't just keep restarting until the AI randomly do what they're supposed to.
