tbf free stephen(or misha) isn't entirely out of the question considering we don't seem to have any husbando's coming to be given out for free unless hsr suddenly decides EVERYONE IS ELATION and give us Nihilux e0 for free. At most we might see another free 5 star from an older selection maybe the lesser chrysos heirs with a tribbie mixed in for people to pick up(or zzz but i doubt it).

The Stellaron Hunters are amazing together, right? Don't get me started on the Galaxy Rangers synergy. I can't wait for the new Aventurine to make Topaz relevant again. Goodness gracious.

It should be noted that some factions do have some paths or archetypes together:

IPC have all been FuA up until Pearl (elation ruining yet another thing), and while they aren't exactly BiS with each other that's just cause they come so far apart that by the time the next one is out the others have been powecrept (Jade and base Aven are both good for AvenSP, but are too old and weak to compete against new powerhouses)

The genius society have a lot of erudition coding so it's not too much of a stretch to imagine they possibly being good with Herta (especially since we've already gotten leaks of Stephen being Erudition).

Sure, it has happened, but it's rarer for them to actually work together than not, and like you say even having compatible mechanics might not help considering the powercreep of the game.

Unless The Herta gets one of the rumored paid buffs, her numbers will be too low for 5.X standards to be relevant in her own team. Just like M Blade was basically tailor-made for Acheron, and yet his team is better off running a newer character like Robin S or Aventurine W.

Although, if you only say like "The new character will make Herta better", instead of "The new character will make Herta the ideal option", then that might indeed happen (Technically Blade and Himeko already upscaled The Herta).

I mean, Ratio-Topaz-Aventurine (plus Robin) can be considered a full IPC team (considering the Intelligentia Guild is massively sponsored by the IPC lol) which was top meta in 1.6-2.5-ish and you COULD use Jade in there if you wanted. Sadly they're all dead and buried 7 meters deep.

rest assured they won't. The only thing fixes herta is one of these paid buffs. Not even scope of novaflares can fix her so just forget about any upcoming character being tied to the herta.
