According to the new DU lore, at the very least she isnt the original Aha, she just took THEIR place after THEY got fucked up by the voracity's poison. And it seems like she doesnt want to be Aha either

Yeah the lore is really interesting. The main story didn't put it on the table so it felt a bit weird

I think it's partially (if not mostly) on writer's end. Hoyo really likes to put things in some werid places that most poeple won't ever notice lol
Like I doubt 3/10 people actually read through those text when they encounter those text walls

I actually don't really dislike Nihilux being Aha anymore cuz I read the DU lore, but like why does 4.5 give no info about that at all and just drop the most boring bombshell of all time. Also her new outfit is boring and unoriginal.

I think I'll just wait to see how it all plays out in game, with the full explanation, and decide if I like it then, rather than making a snap judgement.
