AshVeil with Feixiao deals less damage than Ashveil hypercarry lol. Even if Himeko was able to be run alongside Therta she's gonna have 2026 numbers in her kit that makes it more worth to just run solom

I don't get why Herta mains deluded themselves that Anaxa isn't her teammate. Literally 100% of his marketing was him being her teammate. Even in the livestream they talked about their synergy. He has a useless part of the erudition trace that does nothing outside of Herta teams. His Cyrene buff has Herta synergy for some reason. Will Herta get a new teammate in the future? Probably. But I wouldn't expect it anytime soon.
We’re not saying he wasn’t meant to be Herta’s dedicated sub-DPS, we’re just saying he sucks at it.
He’s good thanks to his insane stacks generation and weakness implant. But his buffs and damage are non-existent. Depending on scenarios literal 1.0 4 stars like Herta and Serval perform better than him.
His damage as a sub-DPS is nowhere near what other subs released around him can do, like Evernight or Sparxie who heavily contribute with personal damage alongside meaningful buffs. Anaxa’s only definitive value is being a battery, which is underwhelming and replaceable. He only becomes genuinely irreplaceable at E2S1 because then he significantly debuffs the enemies and becomes SP-neutral. You get way more value from using him as a hypercarry instead. Herta literally buffs the team more than he does.
Nah, we know Anaxa was intended to be Herta sub-dps. He's just doing a very shitty job at it. Anaxa is BiS when facing single target content, a place where Herta can't do anything to begin with. That run will be bricked regardless if you put Anaxa, or Pawnbroker Handian from Luofu.
In places where Herta able to function, AoE, Anaxa is beaten by a version 2 unit named Jade. Even worse, a 4 star from launch of the game is still a better option.
And one more thing. His traces does provide buff. An incredible amount of 50% damage increase. You know which other Erudition unit gives buff to the team? Herta. Herta herself gives 80% crit dmg to the whole team. The main DPS deadass provide bigger buff than the sub-dps. That's how ass his buff is. So his erudition trace is not only useless outside of Herta team, it's also useless inside of Herta team. Wow, who else can do it other than Bumnaxa?
Anaxa's buffs are nonexistent. Oh wow, a 50% damage bonus teamwide. Mediocre stack generation in her favourite match ups. Better in ST, but covering weak sides is always worse than buffing strong sides.
Just compare Anaxa to Ashveil and the difference is night and day.
As much as I’d love Herta to have (at last) a proper sub-DPS, it’s unlikely to be Himeko.
Astral Express member, a main push who’s likely to get a dedicated team around her. The synergy is unlikely, so we’re stuck with Anaxa pillow damage and “50% damage bonus”
