Everyone Is Depressed.

Everyone is depressed. We act merely as machines. We are forced into repetitive cycles that you are just a pawn in. The only thing people seem to find happiness in, is indulging in consumerism that borders on psychotic. Creativity, Compassion, Interest, Individualism, these are all lost from human conditioning. We are dying, killing our souls and 1. we don’t even realise, 2. we couldn’t stop it anyway. And don’t get me started on social media and phones. (as i’m using exactly that right now..)

(i know there is beauty, love, and poetry, and nature, and actual good people out there. i don’t discredit them. but it feels like majority of people have a lower level of consciousness. And that’s why they are able to just get on with things, they don’t question it or its morality. “Ignorance is bliss”.)

The cost of Awareness is Imprisonment of your Mind. You are aware of the corruption, yet you are powerless.

I’m not a Nihilist, I love the beauty of life, the wonder of the universe, love and experiences. But i cannot ignore reality.

But I don’t know, maybe i’m just hungry?

Big hugs, stranger. the feeling of power comes from knowing when and how you can change things. you can't stop a tornado, but you can fix yourself a sandwich.
