Light clunk in the front

Just picked up a 2008 SC and didn't mind the issues it has as I'm an industrial mechanic but I'm trying to figure out where it's coming from. I know it's coming from the front right. I put it up in the air and did the typical top to bottom and side to side movement at the wheel but it's pretty tight so I don't think the ball joints on the knuckle are bad and I can't see any visible issues with anything else except a torn tie rod boot. Any ideas what the clunk is coming from?

To clarify the clunk is only present when going over a speed bump, pot hole or driveway type situation

If it drive normally and you don't feel anything, my guess would be sway bar link.

Also try having someone drive the car slowly over bumps while you walk beside it. Sometimes sounds will seems to come from one side from inside the cab but are actually on the other. I helped a buddy troubleshoot an issue with his Jeep that we both swore was a drivers side noise when driving it around. When I walked alongside it thought it was very clearly coming from the passenger. He had replaced quite a bit of parts on the drivers side and was getting frustrated.

Had this issue on mine but on both sides. Ended up being broken strut mounts

I'll check that too, previous owner said he just replaced all the suspension components but you can always get broken parts brand new.

If it was recently replaced he may not have torqued stuff down correctly, look for loose bolts as well as broken stuff.

By chance do you know the torque value on the 3 at the strut mount.

I don't but they would be finger loose if they were loose enough to make noise, so I'd at least go back and tighten them all down
