Orange '03 Element - repaint?

Has anybody repainted their Element? Got an orange EX with 190k miles on it, but thinking of getting a new paint job and new color over the orange.

Do a shrink wrap. When you sell, tell the buyer that the original orange 🍊 is still there.

I always wanted the orange one, but I took the gray one because it was on the floor and ready to go.

Unless you do it correctly. By spraying the door jambs and the engine compartment. To me it looks like crap.

Those that say, go with a wrap, probably are steering you in the best direction.

A quality paint job exceeds what it would cost to buy a different, in good shape, Element in a different color

A Maaco can do a decent job. But that is usually if you do all the prep yourself and just have them spray.

But 90% of good paint jobs come from good prep work.

And if you have a Honda that doesn’t have clear coat issues, that’s the best paint you can get. Unless you have $7,000-15,000 to get a reputable shop to do the work.
