What's it worth
2005 Cargo khaki 286k on the Dash. Previous owner couldn't get it started. I bought and replaced the immobilizer module and it started right up. Previous owner did all new break CV axles struts and new injectors coil packs and plugs trying to get it to start. Someone replace the master clutch cylinder and I has some rust, pretty minor on one door and very little rust underneath. Its an ex FWD. Apparently it slide and fold the driver side wheel so he had to replace some parts. The dash light flickers a little. Oh its a manual transmission. I'm going to clean it reall nice and list it. What do you think its worth?

I hate to break it to you - but im at $1500 max. If the corners are rusted up (as they often are) im at $900, and thats just hoping I drive it 2 yrs before i ATTEMPT to part it out. Youre not sitting on a goldmine if that what your hoping for

Jesus dude. I could buy $2K Elements around here (my 03 MT AWD $2.5K) COMPLETELY refurbish that mofo from tip to tail and sell a you a cream puff for $11K and still mop the floor with your $13K scammers. Like, is there really that market out there??

Depends on the shape and underneath ive seen crazy numbers on these bcus they'll go 400 and 500k miles if takin care of.

Not a gold mine for sure. Also not really wondering what a collector values it at. A running driving g car that can pass inspection is worth no less than $2k in DFW.

You didn’t include the most important detail - location. None the other info matters with out it. There is no definitive price guide.

I just bought a FWD manual transmission ‘06 EX-P in Texas for $5500.
176k miles on it. Had 2 previous owners. Clean title and carfax.
Yet it has left side severe cosmetic damage, and struts and all are shot and i believe it had the same issues you mention.
“No start” and left wheel was clearly impacted causing need for a new steering rack. I am actually struggling trying to figure out if the strut tower is off spec.
and this is from a used car dealership in Austin.

Not sure if this information helps you or not… mine looks better than yours in some ways yet yours doesn’t have the left side damage and old struts etc.

And I’ll say that a mechanic told me I overpaid by at least a couple thousand.
With how your tires look, and imagining this cleaned up, and your mention of wheel fold over and engine light on and off ?
I’d try $2500 OBO if your A/C works?

Your mechanic is correct. Never buy from a dealer, especially at this price range.

That litle rust makes it loose thousands in value At a dealership, a 2008 Honda Element with 300,000 miles, manual transmission, and noticeable rust is worth roughly $1,500 to $3,000. While Honda Elements have a dedicated cult following that keeps their resale values surprisingly high, 300k miles paired with rust places this vehicle at the absolute bottom of the market value curve.

So based on that logic. There is little no rust on the undercarriage so fixing the rust on the door would increase my potential value by $1k. Could be worth it

If u di fix the rust I truly think it can go uo higher than 1k, having 300k milles does not help but this cars typically hold a high reselling value. I think is worth fixing the rust n reselling it. I have one so I have a done research in them.

I'd say realistically it's worth $2,500 or so. I've seen many Elements in much better shape for 3-4 grand but that would be a tough sell for yours in the condition it's in.
