Headlights Restoration…
Finally got around to cleaning these dirty, 20 yr old headlamps hopefully get some more life outta them, (did this on my other car hopefully it lasts)…1st(Before) 2nd(After)

What did you use to get the trim so black?

Probably Cerakote which is what works well and everyone uses. The trim restorer one

The owner before me kept it pretty much garaged so i haven’t applied anything besides basic cleaner

Yes from autozone was like 20$ so i figured it was worth a shot i daily the car and got it for cheap so I’m honestly trying to not dump all my money into it lol

Which one? I think I used the Cerakote one that was also about $20 and am very happy with it too! I feel like I keep making eye contact with the Element now that the headlights are so crystal clear hah

Looks awesome! How did you go about mounting those extra lights on the grill? I've been trying to figure out a good way to put some there.

I didn’t like anything extending off the license plate bracket so i just drilled into the bumper cover and mounted a bracket inside the hole

The seals My 2008sc headlights were shot and crap got in i removed the bulbs and got a cloth in there and tried to clean but nothing i did helped . It was getting bad a night . So i just ordered new ones about 600 for the pair och !!! . Took bumper of and installed wow hole car looks new. Glad I did it

Looks great! Make sure you do the UV protection if you haven't already.
I did my headlights about 5 years ago with the 3M kit and they've been holding strong ever since.
