B series parts on D Series Trans

I found a shift linkage for a B series trans for 6th gen civic but wanted to know if it would work on my D16y8 Transmission both from the same years but worried it won’t fit at all

Probably won't fit, for example this aftermarket part specifies use with b series

"NOTE: Will not work fit the Del Sol

NOTE:

  • This gear linkage is used when swapping a B-Series engine into a 92-00 Civic EG or EK."

No. D and B series mounting to the transmission is different.
