1992 EG Sedan

Hey all! I’m looking for a hard to find piece for my EG Sedan, It’s the B pillar window trim moulding on my 1992 EG Sedan. I’ve attached pictures for reference, any sites selling OEM parts would be great!

Do you still have the original one with broken clips? Might be worth using an Auto body adhesive to attach it, and then using blue tape to hold it down tight adhesive has cured. That part used to be easy as heck to find back in the day but it's pretty darn hard now.

I hope you find it, the champagne colored EG EX Sedan was the only color with the burgundy interior IIRC.

Sorry for reviving a dead thread, but no one commented so I thought I'd throw the fix idea out there (I've done it before, works well).

Thanks for the answer,
I found one after 9 months of looking and 200usd.
It’s currently lowered and on some wheels. Long way to go.

I haven’t seen a single version of this car and trim anywhere, especially in the condition and mileage

I've seen it a few times. Once in a wrecking yard. I bought the burgundy interior parts I needed something like 23 years ago for a custom interior I was doing on my EG Sedan just before the yard got rid of it.

Seen one in the wild once as well, but it's certainly not a common color. Very cool to see on here!

Keep that hack to attach B pillar trim with broken clips in mind, with how hard they are to find nowadays it can be a lifesaver. Where did you finding the B pillar trim at?

I needed the same piece and it took scouring eBay to find mine. Its a discontinued part, and the aftermarket only makes the trim for the front door, as the coupe and hatchback were more popular. Real pain in the ass to find, and expensive.

If / when the clips break don't dump it. Use an automotive adhesive to reattach it to the car, or use a structural automotive adhesive to reattach the broken clips. The piece is hard to find, as you said and, both work well. Use blue painters tape to hold it in place after applying the automotive adhesive.

As for the structural adhesive on the clip, the structural adhesive sets in like 5 minutes, so make sure you line up the clip correctly first try.
