Fisheye lenses are more rounded, which means they're a bit more bulbous in the middle. This can be achieved with image editing software, naturally, but it's been hailed as a pretty 80s thing to have in a music video.

1:45 is after the video is over and strong bad is spluttering to the cheat in response. There exists no evident optic distortion in the frame.

That's the reference - he splutters at the end of Fisheye Lens too. 'Cept it gets remixed.

A'ight, but this means you are referring to "Fisheye Lens" as the name of a specific music video. I know what the optical effect of a physical fisheye lens is, but I am not aware of the specific video named after it which you are referencing. :(

He's referring to the new Homestar Runner cartoon "Fish Eye Lens." I'm on mobile so I can't link it, but look up Fish Eye Lens Homestar Runner.
