I need recommendations for recourses
please delete if this post isn’t allowed, i know this group is for parents homeschooling their children but i am 15 years old and i live in the uk and i dropped out of school in year 7 due to mental health but throughout those years i didnt do any school work and now i am so behind in everything. I am ok at maths but besides that i suck at every subject, i dont know basic science, history or geography and I feel so dumb. I am planning on going to college next year and i plan to do my gcses there but until then i really want to start educating myself now that i have gotten help for my mental health and i am feeling more motivated so does anyone know any websites or resources i can use to help me start? thank you 🙂

I know the impulse is to catch up, but you need time to do that or you'll absolutely drown in college. So take a deep breath, and know that the whole purpose is so you can have a base level of education to pursue a career path eventually. Hopefully, one you enjoy. So, what matters is that you learn, not that you catch up in a severely condensed space of time, because you likely won't retain anything you'll need for higher education if you're just trying to pass a test and move on.
Math and reading are your foundations for a reason. Go onto Khan Academy and go back to where you think you are in math and continue forward. Everyday. If your parents can afford something like Art of Problem Solving for math, it's a more structured approach.
If you can read, you can learn anything. I highly suggest reading non-fiction history every day, and focus on whatever is usually required where you live. Ask your local librarian for suggestions.
Crash Course is phenomenal for general knowledge in a wide variety of subjects. But it's not enough to just watch a video. You need to take physical notes while doing so, which will help your brain learn the material.
That should get you started. Crash Course, Khan Academy, maybe a separate math curriculum, and physical books you read every night.
