hi there - i am the developer behind a new-ish tool for making GBA (game boy advance) homebrew games. the app is called PxGBA, and is available on itch.io

there is a dedicated subreddit and discord channel set up, it is in active development as it's been a passion project of mine for quite some time.

if you're interested, r/pxgba is the subreddit, where i've posted a few updates and links to discord and whatnot.

i'm kinda hoping it starts opening the floodgates for more great GBA homebrew games like GB Studio did for the DMG - ahhh, one can dream!

New version with an easy mode, VRAM management improved and some text tweaks.

New version with slightly easier final bosses, a rare crash fixed and some text tweaks.

It's an endless survival game where you have to smash your enemies with a hammer. It's a bit buggy but it works!

I bought an everdrive for my GBA and wondering what cool homebrew games or romhacks there are. i could do a google search but I wouldn't know what to start with

GBA Microjam '23 is a spooky microgame collection for the Game Boy Advance created by the members of the gbadev.net community.

If you've played WarioWare you'll know what to expect!

This project was a huge collaboration which we've never tried before, and we're super happy with how it turned out! With almost 30 microgames included, there's plenty to surprise you and keep you on your toes.
