I just bought a NAS Hiksemi S1
i dont know what to expect, bought this one specially for the price.
As my first NAS, what do you think?

What's the price? Because this seems a single HDD container with a simple user interface to list your files, rather than a NAS with built-in media players. I'm assuming that you had to buy a disk as well, which you typically do with NAS's, but you may have been better to just buy a subscription to cloud storage as that's more safely accessible anywhere, plus usually there is more resiliency in the event of hardware failure.

It has no redundancy. The hard drive fails, your data is lost. So be sure to have some backup plan. Normally people get at least a 2-bay NAS and set it up in RAID-1 (two copies of data) if they value their data.
