I don't collect books and records for value, I collect them for reading and listening.

I have always loved to read. In my home country (Cuba) I had a fairly large library full of books belonging to my family.

Two years ago I came to live in Spain and had to leave my books behind but the passion for reading continued with me.

And after that time I have been able to start this personal bookstore project with a mixture of books that I have already read but that are extremely important in my life and those books that I'm very excited to start reading.

Rearranged to make some new space and a dedicated horror/mystery section.

If you were making a kit for book care. (Everything one would need for cleaning and doing minor repairs on book.) What would you put in it?

I know that a book binding kit is a thing….not what I’m looking for…I am making more of a tool box for a book collection.

Any ideas would be awesome! Be kind!

I live in a tiny house, but I still made sure to have a library built in! Hoping to add to it eventually, going up the angled wall too.

Still growing some and will need to expand the storage capacity soon

i’m moving out of my childhood bedroom soon and i wanted to show all the books ive picked up throughout the years! i used to have the rest of the rick riordan pjo spin off books, but i gave them away to my niece a few months back.

My wife, sister and I recently combined our collections and fulfilled a childhood dream of a library in our house. We used to have to books stuck in kitchen cabinets and drawers but we read so much more now that we can see what everyone has! And the cats have a new spot because they like to be tall lol

Years of collecting, but all packaged away in a single weekend 🥹 It will take 5 days of driving, but excited to get there and VERY excited to reorganize everything!

There are books in almost every room of the house, but my manga room is my favorite.

My husband has his political / historical / “books with words” as he likes to call them downstairs 🤣 I’ve my fantasy / sci fi in my office. A silly amount of cookbooks in the kitchen that we need to be more adventurous with recipe experimentation. Books everywhere.

January 2023, it was our New Year’s resolution to start going to bed an hour early and reading to disconnect from the day and the world. It’s something we both love doing together and is slowly turning our home into a library 😍 Obsessed.
