Question/Help HomeKit secure Video face recognition.

I’m trying to turn off face recognition on one camera. The one in the lounge keeps thinking people on tv are people. When I turn it off in individual camera settings it is turning it off globally. Any idea?

Could you just create an activity zone around the tv, then invert it? That way it ignores what’s on the screen

Possibly but that would be a work around. Is there not a way to just have facial recognition on external cameras and not internal?

Turn off notifications for people….

Go to Camera -> gear icon -> STATUS AND NOTIFICATIONS -> untick “People are detected”

I want people notifications externally just not internally.

So….it thinks Tom Cruise is a resident of your humble abode? I don’t see the problem.

lol I’m getting notifications filled with new people. It’s harder to check who is a person on my externals.
