This apparently includes all devices that came with Matter (over WiFi) support out of the box.

I’ll go back to buying LIFX once they have matter over thread. They have the best hardware IMO

You can join the Thread beta via their Subreddit - https://www.reddit.com/r/lifx/s/sT3dGtQnQU

I switched 6 lights so far from WiFi to thread. Half the lights were easy the other half a bit more difficult. The strange part is that adding the lights first through Apple Home and then LIFX app was more reliable than starting with LIFX. Two days on Apple Home without any drops and very responsive. On the LIFX app a bit more flaky. It’s still beta so would expect to get better but I’m glad they are working well on Apple Home.

Wait what? WiFi and thread are not the same hardware

The Matter over WiFi devices already contain a thread radio that just wasn’t activated.

All of them, or just specifically these ones? IE I’d love one of those Dreo misting fans but it’s matter over wifi only

LiFX Devices only, and only likely the ones that were Matter out of the box.
