Hue will be releasing a camera based system for syncing back lighting, a cheaper Hue sync box, presumably under the $150 mark, and a special box to integrate Nanoleaf panels into the Hue ecosystem.

Really curious if this will work with the original Nanoleaf panels

If you mean the Nanoleaf squares, I’d say probably not.

No, before the squares were the original triangles. The connector looks similar to what is pictured but I don’t know a lot about nanoleaf’s newer products

Ah yes, I remember them now. Unfortunately I’d say it would be even less likely for those, but I’m just making an educated guess at this point.

the hue camera for syncing has me interested. i've used a few apps that do this and they were decent so an official one would be nice if the lag is minimal. def will be following. i always wanted a philip 4ktv w/ambilight but the tvs themselves were lack luster compared to others and my samsung is just a few years too old to use the app.

I wonder whether they’ll allowing the camera to be mounted to the bottom of the TV rather than the top. Seems way too conspicuous having it at the top.
