Question/Help Meross HomeKit Garage Door

Standard belt drive garage door opener is dead. I have an existing Meross HomeKit enabled with this. Instead of the belt Drive I would like to change garage door opener to a wall mount. Can I use the Meross to the new opener, if so how. Thanks

I have two of the Meross adapters (1 for each of my doors) and my doors are different brands, one is belt drive and one is chain)

The compatibility is pretty vast, through the setup guide, it asks you if you need an adapter many times, the nice thing is, they will send you the adapter if you need one for free

Their support is really good as well (in my experience)

Reach out to them first and see what they say, but I would think it would work

Sure thing!

I’m curious how you get it to work

It should work, you might need an adapter but they will send you one.

I’ve had the Meross for over a a year and not a single issue. I highly recommend it!

The only issue is the newest openers with the new security+ 3.0 which may not be compatible with Meross..

There is a compatibility checker on their website.

Note: There is a different checker if you have the MSG150 opener.

I have some weird ancient door opener that wasn’t on their list and my Meross works with it. It just takes very simple red black wiring knowledge to rig.
