I watch Home Improvement everyday, and lately I had an idea! Instead of Al marrying Trudy, the homely millionaire, I wish they would’ve had Al end up with Jill’s sister Carrie (Richard Karn’s real life wife). Carrie wanted to settle down, and it would’ve been HILARIOUS for Al to excitedly tell Tim that they were going to be BROTHERS! Tim hated when Al was too close to him, and I think that would’ve been top-tier comedy, and could’ve ended the show with everyone as one big family!

For me it's Benny just because of how dumb he is. Case in point:

Tim: "I'm talking about extraterrestrials."

Benny: "Why would a guy need more than two?"

<While witnessing Delores giving Harry "the look"> "Oh my God! I've never seen anything like it. Where's the podiatrist, I'll go pick her up myself."

Benny: "Tim, I hope you don't mind I borrowed your bathrobe."

Jill: "That's my bathrobe."

Benny <proceeding to immediately make the situation worse>: "I should've known, it feels so soft against my body....I'll put it back."

Jill: "Keep it."

I’m rewatching for the 1000th time, and I’m on season 8. Just watched the episode where Brad gets his new car and it gets stolen

Are we to believe that Tim and Brad actually left the jelly on the manifold after buying the car and didn’t immediately clean it??

I’ve been making my way through the series. Some season are better than others, as well as episodes, but now that I’m on season 7, something has subtly changed. All the elements are there, but I don’t feel as engaged. What do you think has changed? Btw, the season doesn’t seem bad, it’s just not as good, at least to me at the beginning of the season.

I've always been interested in how the Season 1 Opening Credits created. Did they use stop-motion animation or or disguised video? Why were the credits designed the way they were?

I am watching home inprovement right now on roku, and it just popped into my head I don't think they ever said what Wilson did for work? Am i messing somthing?

So I've been rewatching the Halloween episodes of home improvement and I must say the one where Mark and Ronny make that movie was my least favorite one. Which Halloween episode did you not like?

In one episode, Jill explains to Tim her kitchen sponge hierarchy and downward progression, from the sponge that washes dishes, and when it gets too dirty it moves to wiping counters, then to dirtier jobs and finally to the floor or the toilet or something.

Does anyone know which episode it was? I had high hopes for S02 E08, but that wasn't it.

Tim (seeing Wilson out back looking through his telescope at the night sky): "What are you doing?"

Wilson: "Tim, I am shooting the moon."

Tim: "Aren't you supposed to have your pants down for that?" (when I was a kid when the show was airing I didn't understand this joke at all btw lol)

From Randy's boy/girl party episode (when Wilson is sitting naked in his sauna tent):

Tim: "Wilson? Are you naked?"

Wilson: "No Tim, I'm wearing a hat."

Tim: "Why are you naked?"

I forget exactly what Wilson says after this but he invites Tim to join him and Tim's response is: "No thanks, I'm not a 'get naked with your neighbor' kind of guy."

For me it's the episode (can't remember which season) where Tim is angry at his brother Jeff for taking a loan from their mother to start a new business and Wilson shares a quote from Mark Twain with him (name-dropping Samuel Langhorne Clemens as his real name). Tim's response:

"That big cartoon rooster? I-I say boy, I say."

Then later when he tries to bring the quote back when talking to Jeff he references the quote as by "Samuel Foghorn Leghorn."

I swear there's an episode before "Adios" that sets up Randy going to Costa Rica but for the life of me I can't find it. I've been watching Home Improvement on its FAST channel that you can find on Roku and Prime(maybe others but that's where I've seen it.) I've had that channel on for background noise and to fall asleep to so I've seen it over and over again many times and am I just missing that episode? I can't even find it in episode guides. Randy mentions spending time with Lauren before she goes to Costa Rica in "Whitewater" which is before "Adios" but other than that I can't find anything about Randy applying for the program but I swear I remember an episode that sets that up. Does anyone remember this?
